Yes, but only Thursday, Friday and Saturday. They are closed Sunday.
I didn't see that on the menu.
Tonkatsu, Shoyu, and the Miso ramen were really good. They also have a good portion size for the price. Will definitely be back.
The tonkatsu ramen is pretty good, especially if you add veggies; a good amount of food for the price, and it comes out piping hot, bonus. A star knocked off for their leak-prone “to-go soup containerâ€.
Sooooo good! Absolutely delicious food, a bit crowded seating but worth waiting for a table. Service was quick and everyone was friendly. Just picked someplace random to eat, going through town on a trip. This place did not disappoint. Definitely going to stop in next time we're there!
My husband and I tried this restaurant for dinner this evening. We both tried the pork ramen and it was very authentic. The restaurant is very small and there is very limited seating. The staff is very hard working and friendly. We would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Very good quality food with lots of flavor. Seating is limited making lunch rush a bit crowded. They only have ramen on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The rest of the menu is good too though, so don't hesitate to swing by early in the week.
Great Japanese food. The ramen is great when you can get it. Fast service.
When you go to a tiny, hole-in-the-wall restaurant such as this, you must accept that you will either have an excellent or horrible dining experience.... This place was the latter. I went during the workday lunch rush but the fast and friendly staff still got my meal to me as quickly as possible. I highly recommend going on Thursday or Friday as this is when they serve their delicious and authentic Japanese ramen. I had the Miso soup ramen and while it cost a little more than I expected, the generous portions and fresh ingredients certainly made up for it. Simply a great place and one of Tucson's many hidden culinary gems.
Great ramen, but only Thursday to Saturday. Not too expensive either.
The best ramen in town.
I love it! It is always so fresh and delicious! You know how sometimes you just crave something so savory that'll satisfy your palate??! Well I recommend this dish 1000%.
Best Asian food in Tucson. Very fresh and filling meal. Doesn't get any better.
Ikkyu is my favorite spot in town for two things: ramen and spicy tuna don. They absolutely blow everyone else out of the water on those! Their ramen is phenomenal; it's only served Thursday through Saturday because they spend all week making the broth.
Great staff. Place was mobbed during lunch time but they were so quick and the food is amazing! Will definitely be back again.
Food was just ok. No egg in the ramen, sukiyaki wasn't great. Only thing good about Ikkyu was the price.
Felt there was something missing flavor wise, so the experience was alright.
This place has great food, although I've only tried the CURRY CHICKEN.. comes with amazing white rice and potatoes. The Curry sauce is savory and much better than than the India style curry.
Love this place the ikkyu rolls spicey tuna don valcano style and the chicken curry are all on point! Great people working behind the counter that are fast and super friendly!
Big portions of delicious ramen.
As always great food. If you have a chance come for the ramen. It's well worth it. The food is always top quality.
1st visit - excellent food, fast friendly service. Will definitely return for ramen.
Food was very tasty. I tried multiple dishes and they were all nice and delicious.
Quick service The volcano bowl with spicy tuna was amazing! They do not skimp on the portions. Very good, would reccomend and would go again.
This is absolutely nothing like Japanese food.. very disappointed. Tonkotsu Ramen wasn’t great at all.. broth didn’t have any flavor in fact bamboo shoot took over entire flavor. It wasn’t spicy as well. Sriracha and spicy chill powder on the table came to rescue. Also ordered Ninja roll which supposed to have spicy tuna.. but again it was stuffed with chunks and ground fish which didn’t taste like fish and no taste. On top size is too big if you have to cut the sushi then it’s not sushi. Sushi rice was cooked to porridge consistency.
Greatest tonkatsu I've ever eaten. I can't get enough. Crew is friendly and it's just well run. The man who makes the bone broth deserves saint good. It's the most wonderful thing I've ever eaten...
Tasty Japanese bowls and sushi. A local Tucson classic definitely worth trying. I will definitely be going back to try the ramen soon (available Thursday- Saturday post the sign). The Yakiniku beef was very tasty. The curry was also quite yummy.
I love this place. The food is excellent. Hero is an excellent chef/cook. I love their teriyaki chicken don and potato salad. Been a loyal customer for 20+ years. Thank you Hero for your delicious cuisine.
Really good sushi, it does need a bit of maintenance but overall good.
Absolutely the best Ramen and Japanese food I've had and some of the best food I've ever had. I will be coming here often just to enjoy their great prices and even better food. Would totally recommend to the best people!
Literally love this place. I try and come here every time I come down to northwest hospital for work from Phoenix. Doesn’t get any better!
My first time there. The food was hot and delicious. Lunch time was busy and every seat was taken. Feels like an off the beaten path spot that is small with fantastic food. Definitely going back. Highly recommend.
Love this place. Food is always quick and delicious
Amazing food! We had the miso, yakisoba, and tuna. Everything was fresh and tasty. I definitely recommend checking it out.
Great food, it's kinda pricy but the serving can make up for it. The menu is easy to understand if your needing to see what's in the dish. Staff always fast paced, friendly and understand their menu. Always busy so you may have to wait. Great place to call in orders and pick up food.
This place is wonderful. Been coming here since 2014 and I gotta admit I think I like them better now then I used to. Definitely make it here either Thursday, Friday, or Saturday for their ramen. It is a blessing upon us
Not a good experience. My wife and I went here to try it out for the first time. She ordered Ramen and I got the beef bowl and an order of Inari. She liked her Ramen bowl however I didnt like it at all. Flavor was off and broth felt weak. She gave me the pork from it and after one bite I discarded it. I LOVE TO EAT and almost never discard food... This was extremely bland and dry. Fairly disappointing. My beef bowl turned out to have a long hair wrapped around a big portion of the meat. They dont wear hair nets there unfortunately. I took the bowl up and they took it back immediately and made a replacement bowl shortly after. The meat in the replacement bowl was tough and didn't have much flavor either. If it weren't for the soy sauce I put in it I wouldn't had eaten it. The only good thing in my opinion was the Inari. Iced tea was OK too. They were busy the whole time so they must be doing something right. Not might cup of tea though. Maybe I picked the worst option.
Best place for Ramen in AZ! The service is great and the workers are friendly. Highly, highly recommend!
This place isn't upscale or anything but the food is delicious. I've tried their Japanese curry which was amazing! I thought it was better than any Indian curry I've tried in Tucson. I also tried the ramen. It was delicious. I highly recommend this place.
Best ramen in town, wish they had it all week !!!
Great little place! Nothing fancy. They are all about the food. Pictured is their spicy tuna sushi, "volcano style". Totally delicious. All for about $15 with drink. Good portions.
A hidden gem for authentic Japanese food! Came for the spicy ramen (only served Thurs, Fri & Sat) but kept coming back because everything is good. A Tucson local spot that you must try, particularly if you love authentic ramen!
I ordered a tonkotsu ramen , the food was just so so . The vibe inside like a fast food shop. And there was quite hot ......luckily it was just spring ...
Pretty good overall. Food is prepared FAST! Yakisoba was oddly sweet but noodles were a good texture. The tuna and rice, volcano style is yummy but I'd order double volcano style next time to have enough sauce.
Just ok Ramen, not really flavorful. And the seating situation leaves something to be desired. However, they are very fast with the food.
Cheap eats! This is because there is no table service. You order at the counter and you clean up yourself. Sushi was delicious but the ramen was on the salty side.
We went on their Ramen day and tried 2 kinds of Ramen. One of them had chorizo! It was really good! They were very busy. The place was clean. Nice little shop.
Phenomenal ramen, but only served Thursdays-Saturdays!
Delicious! I also greatly appreciate their adherence to masks, distancing, and great technique to battle the spread of the Covid-19 virus. Recommending to all my friends!
Great ramen make tummy feel good. Best ramem i've ever had
Great spicy sushi rolls! Try their Ninja Roll loaded w/tuna 😋 delish!
Ramen is legit and delicious. Ramen is only served Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Spicy tuna don volcano style is great too.
